Rhonda Lynn Boner

Rhonda Lynn Boner, age 64, of Marion, Illinois, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Integrity Health Care in Marion, Illinois.

Rhonda was born March 04, 1960 in Marion, Illinois, a daughter of Robert and Barbara (Alexander) Robertson. Rhonda grew up in Creal Springs, Illinois and was a graduate of Marion High School where she was a cheerleader and was crowned the 1978 High School Homecoming Queen. Rhonda married Chris Boner on August 21, 1981. She was employed as a Manager at The Limited clothing store in Carbondale, Illinois and later manager of The GAP clothing store. Rhonda was also a Sales Consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetics. She enjoyed being outside, gardening and sewing.

She is survived by two sons, Brock T. (Katie) Boner of Carterville, Illinois and Kegan T. (Brittani) Boner of Colorado Springs, Colorado; three grandchildren, Mason Boner, Hannah Boner, and Blakely Boner; four siblings, Pamela (Harold) Meyers of Hurst, Illinois, Mike (Karen) Roberston of Goreville, Illinois, Leeann (Jonathon) Cowfer, Nashville, Tennessee and Mark (Shana) Robertson of Creal Springs, IL. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Barbara Robertson.

Private graveside services will be held at County Line Cemetery in Creal Springs with Rev. Keith Owens officiating.
