Regina Jo Davis

Regina Davis MARION-Regina Davis, 58, of Marion formerly of Johnston City, passed away at 11:37 AM, Monday, November 30, 2009 at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 3, 2009 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Reverend John Burnett officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion. Regina was born June 17, 1951 in Cairo to Joseph and Mary (Adams) Muenster. She married Edward J. Davis on July 19, 1980 in Cairo; together they shared 29 years of marriage. Survivors include her husband, Eddie of Marion; daughters, Christina Carter of Jacksonville, Tabatha Curry of Marion and Gina Harris of Johnston City; son, Granger Davis of Crainville; eleven grandchildren; her mother, Mary Adams of Paducah, Kentucky; sisters-in-law, Sue Davis, Chris Upshaw, Della Freeman and Joan “Pokey” Davis; and brothers-in-law, Ronald Davis and Grancy Davis. She was preceded in death by her father; two sons, Thomas Carter and Bryan Davis; and one brother. Regina attended Full Gospel Tabernacle Church in Marion. She was a homemaker.
