Rayburn Killman CRAB ORCHARD- Rayburn Killman, 78, of Crab Orchard, passed away at 3:00 AM, Friday, April 9, 2004 at his residence surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, , April 13, 2004 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Reverend Steve Shea officiating. Visitation will be held 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Monday, April 12, 2004 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Coal Bank Springs Cemetery east of Marion. Memorial may be made to the Hospice of Southern Illinois. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home or may be sent co: Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959. Mr. Killman was born on February 28, 1926 in Stonefort, Illinois to Noah and Edith (Curtner) Killman. He married Clarice Baker on November 14, 1946 in Oceola, Arkansas and she survives. Other survivors include daughter, Brenda and Bob Sanders of Marion, son, Danny Killman of Herrin, daughter, Joyce and Jimmy Beasley of Creal Springs, son, Marc and Christal Killman of Marion, son, Stacy and Jennifer Killman of Paducah, KY; grandchildren, Sheila and David Kuhnke, Jon and Amanda Killman, Sara and Dustin Mezo, Jayson Beasley, Kistin Killman, Mathew Killman; great grandchildren, Macy Breann Kuhnke, Skyeler Allgaier, Hana Ellen Page, and Elijah Killman. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Killman was a retired coal miner from the Brushy Creek Mine. He was also a retired farmer and a former employee of the Williamson County Sheriff Radio Dispatch where he worked from 1968 to 1975. He was a member of the UMWA Local #2420. He was of the Protestant faith. He loved to put out a garden, he loved to visit with family and friends and he loved his family.
