Goreville—Randall Keith Phillips, 60, of Goreville passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2011 in Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion.. Memorial services for Randall will be on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at 11:00 AM in Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Reverend Don Colson officiating. An hour visitation will precede the service starting at 10:00 AM on Saturday. Memorial donations are suggested to the Multiple Sclerosis Society; envelopes will be available during services or may be sent C/O Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL, 62959. Randall was born on Wednesday, July 4, 1951 in Harrisburg to Dean & Wilma (Edwards) Phillips. He married Cynthia Billingsley on Friday, March 26, 1982 in Marion; they had recently celebrated their 29th anniversary. Mr. Phillips is survived by his loving wife, Cynthia of Goreville; daughter, Trista Phillips of Johnston City; grandchildren, Quinton King of Marion, Jesse Fisher of TN and Amy Barham of Johnston City; brothers, Darrell & Lisa Phillips of Johnston City and Doug & Penny Phillips of Marion; sister, Cindy Phillips; nieces & nephews, Kristy, Ryan, Ryan and Logan. Randall is preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Sara Beth Phillips. Randall loved NASCAR and being outdoors. He was a gun enthusiast who appreciated the time he was able to spend with his family, friends and especially his grandchildren.
