Pinkney Thomas

Pinkney C. Thomas Harrisburg-Pinkney C. Thomas, 71, of Harrisburg, passed away at 3:34 PM on Sunday, June 26, 2011 at Harrisburg Medical Center. According to Pinkney’s wishes, she will be cremated and no services will be held. Pinkney was born on June 4, 1940 in Stuhgart, Ark to Charlie & Chlela (Broughton) Blue. She is survived by her sons, Chris S. Gillespie (Ida N. Spears), Whit A. Gillespie and Frank E. & Shelly Gillespie, Sr. all of Harrisburg; grandchildren, Amber N. Gillespie of Arkansas, Misty L. Spears and Frank E. Gillespie, Jr. both of Harrisburg; great-grandchildren, Eric, Trace & Ella; brother, Sam Reynolds of Nevada.. Pinkney was preceded by her parents; husband; sister; sons, Jay Lee Thomas, Lee Inman Gillespie and Arthur Lee Thomas. She loved to garden and drive 18-wheel tractor trailers. She will be missed.
