Phyllis Dawanda Sandusky, 80, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2020 at Integrity Healthcare of Herrin.
Phyllis was born on October 12, 1939 in Vienna to Chalman and Wilma (Ford) Burklow. She married Robert Sandusky on September 1, 1959 in Marion. He preceded her in death on January 7, 2011.
Phyllis worked at Mattingly Healthcare. She loved Cardinal’s Baseball, listening to Vince Gill’s music and attending his concerts and her favorite color was red. Phyllis loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

DUE TO HEALTH CONCERNS RELATED TO THE COVID-19 VIRUS AND BY THE SIGNING OF EXECUTIVE ORDER BY GOVERNOR J.B. PRITZKER, a private graveside service will be held at Vienna Fraternal Cemetery in Vienna.
Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements.
