Phyllis Anne Patton Marion-Phyllis Anne Patton, 63, of Marion passed away at 9:42 PM, Sunday, September 24, 2006 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, September 27, 2006 at the Herrin City Cemetery. With Reverend Todd Greiner officiating. All those attending are asked to meet at the cemetery. Mrs. Patton was born on January 3, 1943 in Herrin, Illinois to Elroy and Lillian (Neuman) Grounds. Survivors include her mother; son Mike Patton; and daughter Annette Patton, all of Marion, brother Roger Grounds of Massachusetts; and sister Judy and her husband Larry Kuhar of Marion. She was preceded in death by her father; and son Mark Patton. She attended the Community of Faith Church. She was a wonderful mother and homemaker.
