Phillip R. Pyland GOREVILLE-Phillip R. Pyland, 45, of Goreville passed away at 3:15 PM, Saturday, September 11, 2010 at Heartland Regional Medical Center. Memorial services will be held at 5:00 PM, Friday, September 17, 2010 at the First Pentecostal Church of Goreville with Reverend R.G. Null officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the family. Blue Funeral Home in Goreville is assisting the family with the services. Phillip was born on October 5, 1964 in Marion to Donald and Marva June (Schaffer) Pyland. He married Cindy Sadzewicz on October 25, 1987 in Kingman, Arizona; together they shared 22 years of marriage. Survivors include his wife, Cindy Pyland of Goreville; his son and daughter-in-law, Jason & Dee Sadzewicz of Goreville; two grandchildren, Wendy Marie and Amber Eva Ray Sadzewicz; mother, Marva June Knight of Johnston City; sister and brother-in-law, Melanie and Virgil Strunk of Johnston City; two nephews and one niece, Aaron, Nathan and Stephanie Strunk; and mother-in-law, Marie Sadzewicz of Goreville. He was preceded in death by his father; father-in-law, Bruno Sadzewicz and ten uncles. Phillip enjoyed spending time with his friends, loved plants and gardening, and had a special fondness for tattoos. He was an organ donor and his gift will be saving over 75 lives.
