Pauline Jones FERGES-Pauline Jones, 85, of Ferges passed away at 11:40 PM, Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, July 20, 2007 at Abundant Life Assembly of God, east of Marion with Reverend Jeff Baker and Reverend Jerry Schell officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 until the time of the service on Friday at the church. Burial will be at Maplewood Cemetery, Marion. Memorials may be made to the Abundant Life Assembly of God; envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959. Mrs. Jones was born on April 29, 1922 in Herrin, Illinois to James and Lydia (Trout) Finney. She married Judge Snyder Howell on November 5, 1943; and he preceded her in death. Survivors include son, Steven Howell of Millstadt; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Melva Howell of Corryton, Tennessee; grandchildren, Tim Howell, Jason Howell, Rebecca Howell and Amanda Howell; brothers, Jack Finney and James Finney; and sisters, Beryl Pepin and Barbara Beasley. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Max, Eugene and Bill Finney; and sisters, Elsie Antonini and Mary Young. Mrs. Jones was a member of the Abundant Life Assembly of God in Marion. She formerly worked at Marion Memorial Hospital and was a homemaker.
