Pittsburg-Paul Edward House, 83, passed away at 4:40 pm on Sunday, July 27, 2014 at Frankfort Health Care in West Frankfort. Paul was born on November 12, 1930 in Oxly, MO to Frank and Nannie (Bridgeforth) House. He married Ann Arvesta (Fantz) House and they enjoyed 68 years of marriage. She preceded him in death on July 21, 2014. Paul enjoyed the outdoors, spending time with his horses and loved playing the fiddle. He will be missed by all. Survivors include: Son-Paul G. “Butch” House (Amy LaJeune) of Hebron, IN Daughter-Brenda Sobel-Garlich of Pittsburg Six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife. A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Blue Funeral Home in Marion from 5pm-8pm. Burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery in Hobart, IN. Rees Funeral Home in Hobart will be assisting the family with the burial. Memorial donations are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Hospital and will be accepted at Blue Funeral Home/ 1704 N. Court St/ Marion, IL 62959.
