Patsy Vanseghi

Marion-Patsy Ann Vanseghi, 81, passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2019 at Herrin Hospital.

Patsy was born on February 19, 1938 in Bertrand, MO to Coy and Bertha Mae (Kindle) Middleton.

Patsy was a homemaker, devoted to her husband of 62 years and their three children. She cherished the friendships and sense of community she found after retiring to the area. Patsy loved to fish and cook for friends and family, it was her passion.

Daughter-Theresa and Erwin Machel of Marion

Daughter-Merry Suzanne and John Hall of Apple River, IL

Son-Timothy Vanseghi of Chicago

Brother-Don Middleton of Marshfield, MO

Sister-Brenda Drapak of Marshfield, MO

Brother in law- Michael Page of Marshfield, MO

Many nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother and sister in law, Paul and Martha Middleton; sister, Linda Page; brother in law- Michael Drapak, sister, brother in law, nephew and wife Betty, David, Christopher and Shawnia Crafton.

As per Patsy’s wishes, she will be cremated. The family will host a private memorial service at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made in her honor to The Heather Treat Memorial Fund benefiting cancer patients in Johnson County.
