Patsy A. Griffith PITTSBURG-Patsy A. Griffith, 76, of Pittsburg passed away at 3:00 AM, Monday, May 22, 2006 at her residence surrounded by her family. As per Patsy’s personal wishes there will be no public visitation or funeral. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Griffith was born on April 28, 1930 in Charleston, West Virginia to William and Elizabeth (Reardon) Fox. She married Earl Griffith on September 6, 1952 in Charleston, West Virginia. Survivors include her husband Earl of Pittsburg; daughter and son-in-law, Marylou and Robert Whittenborn of Chester; sons and daughter-in-law, Randy and Elizabeth Griffith of Pittsburg and Martine Griffith of O’Fallon; seven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and sisters, Marylou Huffman of Independence, West Virginia and Lucille Morgan of St. Albans, West Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister; and one grandchild. Mrs. Griffith worked for the Federal Government for 17 years.
