Patricia Louise Uchitjil

Patricia Louise Pierce Uchitjil, age 76, of Odin, Illinois passed from this life on March 24, 2024 at St. Mary's Hospital in Centralia, Illinois.

She was born to parents Rev Frank and Irene (Edwards) Pierce in Carbondale, Illinois on May 21, 1947.

Pat married her loving husband Kevin Uchitjil on October 4, 1991. She was a faithful member of the Apostolics of Salem and had a vibrant faith in the Lord.

She had a gift for working with flowers and spent many years as a talented florist, creating beautiful arrangements and designs. She designed flower arrangements for many family members weddings and funerals.

She enjoyed singing both in her church choir and as a member of the Sweet Adeline's. Her voice was a reflection of her joyful spirit and love for harmony.

Known for her kindness and compassion, she had a heart for animals and always opened her home to any stray in need.

Pat loved gardening and canning. Her Southern cooking was a delight to all who tasted it, and she always made enough for anyone who may stop by.

Above all, she cherished her role as a mother to Ken and Kris, but her greatest joy came from being a "Grammy." She leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that will be remembered and treasured by all who knew her.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered in our hearts.

She is survived by her husband, Kevin; her two sons, Rev Kenneth and (Stephanie) Dillingham of Dayton, Ohio, and Rev Kris (Jennifer) Dillingham of Toledo, OH; Grandchildren- Kaylen (Scott) Haltom, Kyle (Callie) Dillingham, Rhett (Emily) Dillingham, Reece (Allyson) Dillingham, Ashlyn Dillingham, Audrey Dillingham, and Avary Dillingham. Great Grandchildren Warren Pierce Haltom, Gwendolyn Ruth Haltom, and Charlotte Grace Haltom.

She is preceded in death by her father, mother, and brother, Howard Pierce.

Memorial services will be held at the Apostolic Church of Salem (1600 Mills Cart Road, Salem, Illinois 62881) on Tuesday April 2, 2024 at 12:00 P.M. Visitation will be held at the church from 11:00 AM until service time. Private burial will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Paulton, Illinois.
