Orville E. Hayes CREAL SPRINGS-Orville E. Hayes, 86, of Creal Springs passed away at 5:07 PM, Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at his residence as a result of a farming accident. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 3, 2007 at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Reverend Tim Blankenship officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Friday, November 2, 2007. Burial will be at Drake Cemetery in Creal Springs. Memorials may be made to the Creal Springs Assembly of God Church. Mr. Hayes was born November 28, 1920 in Carrollton, Missouri to Harry and Ada (Hundley) Hayes. He married Jewell Upchurch on August 28, 1943; they were married 62 years until her death on February 25, 2006 Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law Kathy and Alex Goldstein; daughter and son-in-law Linda and Edward Miller; son and daughter-in-law Rick and Nancy Hayes; daughter and son-in-law Peggy and Buddy Motsinger; grandchildren Keith Milburn and Michelle Gent, Brandy Carnaghi, Aaron Hayes, Melissa Hayes-Wunsh, Tara Larson, Kara Lawrence, Bryan, Dustin, and Kaelynne Motsinger; great-grandchildren Gabrielle, Meagan, and Ryan Milburn, Bailey White, and Benjamin Hayes; sisters Evelyn Johnson, Mildred Skiner, and Joyce Walker; sisters-in-law Ruth Ann Hayes Rook, Pauline Travelstead, and Eva Felts Powell and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife Jewell; son Terry Lee Hayes; grandsons Michael Scott Linck and Allen Todd Milburn; great-grandson Tucker Todd Gent; brother Marion Hayes; sister Ruth Noel. Mr. Hayes served his country in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a member of the Creal Springs Assembly of God Church; the Stonefort Masonic Lodge; and Local 318 Operating Engineers until his retirement. Farming and cattle was something he enjoyed. He still maintained a herd of goats and Black Angus cattle. His hobbies were raising a variety of birds and gardening, he and his land produced many fruits and vegetables that he enjoyed giving away.
