Goreville- Ora A. Thomas, 84, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.
Ora was born on November 14, 1929 in Elvira,IL to W.M. Frank and Gladys (Johnson) Thomas. He married Marjorie Blank in Springfield in January 1952. She survives of Goreville.
Ora served his country in the Army Air Corp in Japan and Korea. He was a member of Goreville First Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, James Franklin Thomas; two brothers, William F. Thomas (infancy) and Verle Thomas and three sisters, Bernice Odle, Opha Kerr and Imojean Deibert.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at 11am at Blue Funeral Home in Goreville with Rev. Joseph Pike officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in West Vienna. Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 from 5pm-8pm at the funeral home.
