Norman Ray Bailey Marion- Norman Ray Bailey, 59, of Marion passed away, Thursday, December 2, 2010 at home. It was Norman’s wish that there be no visitation or funeral service. Instead donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association; envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL, 62959. Norman was born on September 5, 1951 in Harrisburg, IL to Norman M. & Dortha (Davis) Bailey. He married Cathy Morrison on March 9, 1973 in Marion. They shared 37 years together. Survivors include his wife; children, LeeAnn & Jason Draper of Carmi, IL and DeeEllen & Justin White of Ballwin, MO; grandchild, Lincoln Draper and one grandchild on the way; brother, Larry & Peggy Bailey of Marion; sisters, Lena Bailey and Cheryl & David Winkleman all of Marion; special family friends, Kenneth & Edith Bolen and Dale Jones; nieces; nephews and cousins. Norman was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Roy “Dee” Bailey. Norman was an avid dog lover, enjoyed the St. Louis Cardinals and drinking coffee at KB’s Restaurant.
