Norma Louise Jones Marion – Norma Louise Jones, 78, of Marion passed away at 1:35 PM on Monday, January 24, 2011, at Friendship Care Center in Herrin. According to Norma’s wishes, she will be cremated and there will be no services. Condolences may be sent C/O Blue Funeral Home, P.O. Box 411, Marion, IL, 62959 Norma was born on October 18, 1932 in Wichita, KS to Harvey & Valera M. Jones. She is survived by her sister, Rose Thornton; nephews, Myron Filkins & Ed Johnston; all three of Marion. Norma was preceded in death by her parents. She worked for Kansas City Life Insurance as a file clerk. Norma was a faithful Baptist woman who enjoyed spending time with her cats & dogs.
