Norma Albright

Marion Norma J. Albright, 81, of Marion passed away at 7:10 AM on August 16, 2012 at her home. Funeral services for Norma will be on Monday, August 20, 2012 at 1:00 PM in Blue Funeral Home in Goreville with Reverends RG Null & Jason Forby officiating. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery in Tunnel Hill. Visitation will precede the funeral service starting at 11:00 AM at the funeral home and lasting until the service hour. Blue Funeral Home in Goreville is assisting the family. Mrs. Albright was born on Monday, September 22, 1930 in Miburn, KY to Fred & Ida Mae (Taylor) Summers. She married Don Albright in Piggott, Arkansas on Thursday, July 23, 1953; he preceded her in death in 1996 after 43 years of marriage. Norma is survived by her children, Sue & Charles Christensen of Olive Branch, LaDonna Albright of Marion, Alisa & Denny Parrish of Goreville Dennis Albright of Marion, Cheryl Greer of Marion, Michael & Tonya Albright of Johnston City, Kathy & Gary Dunlap of Homestead, FL and Chris & Mary Albright of Marion; step-children, Bobbi Sue Horndon of St. Louis and Donna Lou Price of St. Louis; 26 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchildren on the way; siblings, Mary Goodermote of Herrin and Scott Summers of Ohio. Norma was preceded in death by her parents; husband; grandson, Darryl Edwards; 2 great-grandchildren; 4 brothers and 1 sister. Norma loved to dance and spend time with family and friends. She will be sadly missed.
