Neil Wayne Nolen MARION-Neil Wayne Nolen, 61, of Marion passed away at 11:31 PM, Sunday, March 30, 2008 at his residence. Memorial services will be held at 4:00 PM, Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at the Goddard Chapel in Marion with Reverend Linda Coulson officiating. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society and the American Diabetes Association; envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is in charge of the arrangements Mr. Nolen was born December 30, 1946 in Herrin, IL to Hubert Wayne and Juanita (Miller) Nolen. Survivors include his mother, Juanita; son, Todd Bainbridge Nolen of Marion; daughter, Melissa Nicole Kroll and husband Greg of Durham North Carolina; grandchildren, Ciera Nokomis Nolen, Natasha Nycole Dunnigan, and Nathan Kroll; sister, Robin and her husband Addison L. Roberts. He was preceded in death by his father and two grandsons, William Shawn Nolen and Robert Shane Nolen. Mr. Nolen had been a watchmaker for a local jeweler and was employed in several other businesses in Southern Illinois. He was a life long member of the Marion Elks and was a Past Exalted Ruler.
