Ned Albert Ginder
Lake of EgyptNed Albert Ginder, 88 of Lake of Egypt, passed away at his home on Thursday, November 1, 2012 with his wife by his side.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Lake of Egypt Christian Church with Pastor Leroy Waggoner officiating. Graveside services will be held the following Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Grandview Memorial Garden in Champaign. Friends and family attending the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery. Memorial donations are suggested to either the Ginder family or Lake of Egypt Christian Church. Ned was born in Filson, IL on Monday, January 28, 1924 to Cecil & Mary (Beanblossem) Ginder. He married Anna Mae Oster in Champaign on his birthday in 1979; she survives of Lake of Egypt.
Mr. Ginder is survived by his wife, Anna Mae; daughters, Sharon McGrath and Sondra Harris, both of Champaign; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death his parents, Cecil & Mary; son, David Ginder; step-son, Wayne Cobb; brother, Harry Ginder; sister, Virginia Botcher and brother-in-law, Sterling Botcher.
Mr. Ginder enjoyed fishing and carpentry. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
