Mrs. Diana L. Thomas

Marion-Diana Thomas, 53, passed away at 7:16pm on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale. Diana was born on February 11, 1962 in Carbondale to Paul and Patricia (McGowen) Meadors.  She married Roger Thomas, Jr on January 25, 2013 in Marion.  He survives of Marion. Diana was of Christian Faith.  She enjoyed cooking various dishes, spending time with animals and playing games at home. Diana loved spending time with family and friends and will be missed by all. Survivors include: Father-Paul Meadors and wife Marlene of Comanche, TX Husband-Roger Thomas, Jr of Marion Son-Zach Caldwell of Gulf Shores, AL Son-Corey Caldwell of Marion Step daughter-Nicole Knull of Carrier Mills Step daughter-Amanda Hall and husband Mike of Harrisburg Step son-Joshua Thomas of Marion Step son in law-Brandon Knull of Carrier Mills Five Grandchildren Sister-Paula Meadors of Anniston, AL She was preceded in death by her mother. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at 11am at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Jeffrey Vogelzang and Kenion Coleman officiating.  Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will also be on Thursday from 9am until the time of service at the funeral home.
