Morris Brown Ellis, Jr.

Morris B. Ellis Jr., age 62, of Marion, Illinois,  passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at Carbondale Memorial Hospital in Carbondale, Illinois.

Morris was born April 11, 1960 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, a son of Morris B. and Sakiko (Horie) Ellis Sr.  He married Lesa N. Pritchett on July 29, 2003 in Lawton, OK.   

He is survived by his wife Lesa N. Ellis of Marion, IL; one son, Jonathan D. Ellis (Fiancee Chyanne Ulber) of Carbondale, IL; two grandchildren, Myles Ellis and Micah Ellis; and five siblings, Maureen Ellis of Baltimore, MD, Ronnie Ellis of Lawton, OK, Bobby (Sherry) Ellis of Lawton, OK, Pamela (Jason) White of Versailles, MO, and Viola Ellis of Jacksonville, FL.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Morris B. and Sakiko Ellis Sr.; one brother, Alfred Ellis ;and one sister-in-law Nancy Ellis.
