Morgan David Rheaume Marion-Morgan David Rheaume, 61, of Marion passed away on Monday, September 5, 2011 at 1:59 PM in Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 from 5-8 PM at Blue Funeral Home in Marion. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2011 at 10 AM at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Marion with Monsignor Thomas Flach officiating. Military Rites will be conducted at the church with the VFW, American Legion and National Guard officiating. Mr. Rheaume will be interred in St. Frances DeSales cemetery in New Burnside at a later date. Memorial donations are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital; envelopes are available during the services or may be sent C/O Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL, 62959. David was born on July 20, 1950 in Detroit, MI to Morgan Gerard & Rosa Mae (Webb) Rheaume. He married Donna Stone on December 2, 1972 in Stonefort, IL; they were about to celebrate their 39th wedding anniversary. Survivors include his loving wife, Donna; mother, Rosa Mae of Marion; children, Brian C. & Christina Rheaume, currently stationed in Japan via US Navy and Jennifer & Jared Mattoon of Federal Way, WA; grandchildren, David Garrett Rheaume, Hanna Marie Rheaume, Ailee Perez, Spencer Matthews and (on-the-way) Kaylee Rose Mattoon; sisters, Linda Kepner of Jacksonville, FL, Lucinda & David Schmitt of Ridgeway, Lucille Rheaume of Marion and Lorna & Jim Kirkham of St. Augustine, FL; brothers, Daniel Gerard Rheaume of Chicago, Dirk Rheaume of Kentucky, Dexter Rheaume of Tunnel Hill and James Patrick & Jamie Rheaume of Carrier Mills.. David was preceded by his father and brothers, Dale Joseph Rheaume & Carl Alexander Rheaume. Mr. Rheaume was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Marion. He was the owner/operator of Broach House Manufacturing inc. in Marion. Morgan was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the US Army. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and running his dogs.
