Mona Steward

MARION - Mona Steward, 86, died at 4:50 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, with family by her side. With respect to Mona's wishes, she will be cremated and no services will be held. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements. Mrs. Steward was born Sept. 17, 1926, in Terre Haute, Ind., to Willard and Hazel (Small) Lumsdon. She married Ernest Steward June 4, 1950, in Terre Haute. He preceded her in death Aug. 4, 2009. Mona is survived by her daughter, Bonnie and Les "Boomer" Snyder of Marion. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Nanette Steward; one brother and three sisters.
