Mona L. Johnson MARION-Mona L. Johnson, 63, of Marion passed away at 5:05 AM, Saturday, October 1, 2005 in Irving, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, October 6, 2005 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Reverend David Thompson officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 9:00 PM, Wednesday, October 5, 2005 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Smith Cemetery, in Franklin County. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association; envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959. Ms. Johnson was born on April 29, 1941 in Bonnie, Illinois to Harry and Melissa (Wangler) Johnson. Survivors include her mother, Melissa of Marion; Scarlett Tosh of Tunnel Hill; brother-in-law, Ronnie Smith; nephews, Mike McGee, Tim and Jean McGee and Jeff and Christie McGee; niece, Darla and Terry Horn; seven great nieces and nephews; three uncles; and two aunts. She was preceded in death by her father; two sisters, Janet McGee and Myrna Smith. Ms. Johnson graduated from Marion High School. She worked as a billing clerk for Western Union and Com Data.
