Mollie R Puckett

Mollie R. (Watkins) Puckett, 75 of Marion, IL passed away February 14, 2025. She was born on August 2, 1949, to parents Harvey Watkins and Delitha (Brown) Watkins in Tremble, Tennessee. She was joined together in marriage to her loving husband Robert Bell on April 19, 2014. 

Survivors of Mollie include her husband Robert Bell; son Paul Steven Pucket II; daughter Stephanie Grigsby; sister Sherry Perry; brother Jeff Watkins; and stepmother Barbara Watkins. She is also survived by her grandchildren Taylor (Mark) Kaszian, Morgan (Gabe) Kielhofner, and Jersie Puckett. Her great grandchildren include Aria and Kruz Kaszian, and Brooks and Kasen Kielhofner; many nieces and nephews including Drew (Rachel) Watkins, Curtis (Mary) Watkins II, Paul Watkins, Brynne (John) Martinez, and Brian (Nicole) Bruer. 

She is preceded in death by her father Harvey Theodore Curtis Watkins, mother Delitha Geraldine Brown, and her brother Curtis Watkins.

When not spending time with her family Mollie enjoyed reading mystery books that always kept her guessing, wine tasting at many of the wineries in the area, supporting her favorite teams the St. Louis Cardinals and the Tenn Volunteers. Mollie was also a very loving dog mom to her 17-year-old yorkie Captain Jimmy Buffet. 

Per the family’s wishes, no services will be held at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations should be made out to St. Francis Cares in Murphysboro, IL in Mollie’s honor. 

She will be deeply missed and forever loved by those who knew her.
