Mildred Ruth Woods MARION-Mildred Ruth Woods, 82, of Marion passed away at 3:45 AM, Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at Parkway Manor. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 23, 2006 at Blue Funeral Home in Marion. Visitation will be from 10:00 until 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 23, 2006 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Masonic and Oddfellows Cemetery, Benton. Memorials may be made to Parkway Manor; envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959. Mrs. Woods was born on October 2, 1924 in West Frankfort, Illinois to Clyde and Madge (Edwards) Woolard. She married Clinton woods on October 14, 1939 in Jackson, Missouri; he preceded her in death on December 20, 2005. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne and Steve Albright of Goreville; son, Jeff Woods of Mexico; daughter and son-in-law, Beth Ann and Jim Ide of Arizona; and grandchildren, Damon Tucker of California, Courtney and Bryan Grady of Arizona, Lindsey Fisher and Casey Fisher both of Carbondale, and Kristen Ide of Arizona. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; daughter, Sharon Sue Woods; grandson, Henry “Junior” Fisher; and brother, J.H. Woolard. Mrs. Woods was a member of Whiteash Freewill Baptist Church. She had formerly worked for Marion Unit 2 Schools as a librarian and was a secretary for Dr. R.D. Morgan.
