Mildred G. Krumrey MARION-Mildred G. Krumrey, 93, of Marion passed away at 1:15 AM, November 4, 2008 at the home of her daughter, Mary Ella. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at Davis Prairie Cemetery, east of Marion with Reverend Ed Martin officiating. There will be no visitation. Blue Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois; envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959. Mrs. Krumrey was born on April 23, 1915 in Marion, Illinois to Otto and Mary (O’Neal) Short. She married Earl M. Krumrey on September 18, 1937 in Jackson, Missouri; he preceded her in death on September 14, 2005. Survivors include her daughter, Mary Ella Hudgens of Marion; daughter and son-in-law, Earlene and Jerry McCluskie of Marion; son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Delores Krumrey of Marion; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Alice Goggin; and brother-in-law, Vernell Krumrey. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and five brothers. Mrs. Krumrey was of the Protestant faith. She was a homemaker, mother and grandmother. The family would like to thank Hospice of Southern Illinois for their loving care, and give a special thanks to Gale Olson for her kindness and support given to their family.
