Marion- Mildred E Stilley, 95, of Marion passed away November 5, 2011 at 5:24 AM at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. Funeral services for Mrs. Stilley will be held on Tuesday, November 8th at 11 AM with Reverend Kevin McNeely officiating at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion. There will be a visitation held from 9am until the service hour, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Lakecreek Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society; envelopes are available during the services or may be sent C/O Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL, 62959. Mildred was born on Sunday, September 10, 1916, the daughter of Hubert and Mary (Lee) Browning. She married William Floyd Stilley on Wednesday, December 6th, 1939. He preceded her in death on Monday, December 25th, 2000. Mrs. Stilley enjoyed gardening, her grandchildren and neighbors. She is survived by her children, Frank & Judy Stilley of Johnston City, Jack D. & Janet Stilley of Marion and Marsha Steele of Marion; grandchildren, Kevin Stilley of Herrin, Randy Stilley & Kim of Marion, Leana Horn & Jon of Marion, Jason & Leann Stilley of Paducah, KY and Alexa Freeman of Marion; great-grandchildren, Jacob Stilley, Jessica Stilley, Jace Horn, Jaxon Horn, Shannon Melvin, Shara Stilley, Daniel Stilley, Renee Stilley, Randi Danielle Stilley, River Stilley; six great-great-grandchildren and American Bulldog “Butters Marie Freeman”. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Buck, Herbert and Forest Lee and two sisters, Maria and Hazel.
