Michelle Riddle Bean, 59, of Marion, Illinois, was called to heaven peacefully on October 12, 2024, surrounded by her loving husband and family. Born on August 13, 1965, in Belvedere, Illinois, Michelle was a shining star in the lives of everyone who knew her.
Heaven gained an Angel. Michelle loves the Lord, and her favorite saying was “God is good all the time”. A proud graduate of West Frankfort High School, Michelle pursued her education with passion, attending two years of college at Rend Lake College. For many years, she worked as a salesperson at Marion Toyota, where her infectious positivity made each day brighter for her colleagues, who became like family to her. Michelle cherished her relationships with her customers, many of whom became close friends over the years. She also enjoyed a fulfilling career with local newspapers, relishing the opportunity to connect with local businesses.
As a devoted wife to her soulmate, Jeff McMillian, Michelle's love was a guiding light in their lives together. She dedicated herself to putting others first, always ready to lend a hand to those in need. Her compassion for the less fortunate knew no bounds, inspiring all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Michelle's strength, beauty, and unwavering spirit touched countless hearts. She was not only a remarkable partner but also a true friend, mentor, and advocate for those in need. Her laughter and kindness will forever echo in the lives she impacted.
Michelle found immense joy in spending time with her three grandchildren and family. A vibrant soul, she had a passion for junking, antique shopping, home decorating, painting, coloring, and traveling. These hobbies brought her great joy and provided her with cherished moments and memories.
She is survived by her loving husband of 14 years, Jeff McMillian; Her Father, Jerry Riddle; Brother, Spencer Riddle and wife Sandy; Son, Kyle Bean and his wife Taylor; Three beautiful, wonderful grandchildren, Hailey, Emma and Kaden. She was preceded by her Mother, Gaila Riddle and her father Melvin Bigham jr.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her memory to Hospice of Southern Illinois.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2024, from 10:00 A.M. until noon at Blue Funeral Home located at 1704 N. Court St., Marion, Illinois 62959. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 P.M. with Kevin Waldrop officiating. Interment will follow in Galatia, Illinois at Ebenezer Cemetery. All are welcome to join in honoring her remarkable spirit and the love she shared so freely.
