Michael Eugene “Hawkeye” Hill Marion—Michael Eugene “Hawkeye” Hill, 49 of Marion, passed away at 2:05 PM on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Heartland Regional Medical Center. Funeral services for Michael will be held at Blue Funeral Home in Marion on Sunday, February 3, 2013 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Robbie Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Hanks Cemetery-south of Marion. Visitation will be on Sunday at the funeral home starting at Noon. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements. Michael was born on Wednesday, May 22, 1963 in Marion to Orville & Shirley (Grimes) Hill. Hawkeye is survived by his mother, Shirley of Marion; sisters, Mary Kay Evetts, Melanie Smith and Michelle & Terry Johnson (all of Marion); nephews, Ben Duvall, Andy Duvall, Lucas Duvall, Christopher Johnson and Tyler Johnson (all of Marion). He was preceded in death by his father, Orville; paternal grandparents, Orville & Alberta Hill and maternal grandparents, Dolphus & Imogene Grimes. Hawkeye had been previously employed at Egyptian Expo.
