Mary Saddoris

Goreville Mary Imogene Saddoris, 83, of Goreville passed away at 6:00 AM on Friday, February 24, 2012 at her home with her family by her side. Graveside services for Mary will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 2:00 PM in Rose Hill Cemetery with Reverend Shorty Alsip officiating. Memorial donations are suggested to Hospice of Southern Illinois; envelopes will be available at the cemetery or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL, 62959. Mary was born on Sunday, February 26, 1928 in Herrin to Louis Gain & Mary Catherine (Yandell) Harris. She married William O. Murphy who preceded her in death. Mary later married Don Saddoris who survives of Goreville. Survivors include her husband, Don; children, Richard & Penny Murphy of Peoria, David & Terri Murphy of Marion, Robert & Rebecca Murphy of Marion and Terri Hudgens & Shaunn Curry of Pittsburg; grandchildren, Billy Murphy, Debbie Murphy, Phillip Murphy, Matthew Murphy, Daniel Murphy, Tabitha Robinson, Jeremy Murphy and Rachael Hudgens; 8 great-grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William O. Murphy; sisters, Mable Bateman, Ann Rolando and Marjorie Edwards & brother, Leon Harris.
