Mary Louise Belville

Mary Louise Belville, age 76, of Marion, Illinois, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2024 at her home.

Mary was born October 29, 1947 in Columbus, Ohio, a daughter of James and Noleen (Higgins) Hixon. At a young age her family moved to Coal Grove, OH, where she grew up and graduated high school. She attended Ashland Business College in Ashland, KY and married Dillard I. "Bud" Belville, in Coal Grove, OH on August 2, 1969. After their marriage she worked at a bank and the couple started their family. The family had lived in many parts of the country until they settled in Marion, IL in 1981. While here she worked in the office at Davco.

She is survived by her husband Dillard I. "Bud" Belville of Marion, IL and two daughters, Lisa R. Belville of Marion, IL and Kristi L. Belville of Pittsburg, IL. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Noleen Hixon and her twin sister, Myra Vanderhoof.

Blue Funeral Home in Marion, IL is assisting the family with arrangements. Mary will be buried with her husband at Mounds National Cemetery at a later date.
