Mary Lee O’Hara MARION-Mary Lee O’Hara, 77, of Marion passed away at 4:54 AM, Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at Shawnee Christian Nursing Home in Herrin. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, March 25, 2010 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion with family members officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, Thursday, March 25, 2010 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Masonic and Odd Fellow Cemetery in Benton. Mary was born on December 10, 1932 in Christopher to Harry & Gladys (Ogilvie) McMillan. She married James Andrew O’Hara on May 18, 1952 in Christopher. Together they shared nearly 58 years of marriage until his death on March 17, 2010. Survivors include her son, James Andrew O’Hara, Jr. of Marion; grandchildren, Sara Beth Phillips, Quinton King, James Gerald O’Hara, Abigail Marie O’Hara, and Alayna O’Hara; sister and brother-in-law, Mary & Clarence DeMattei; sister-in-law, Willadean McMillan; son-in-law, Steve King; nephews and nieces, J.J., Clay, Mike & John DeMattei, Gina Crippen and Jenna Fletcher. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James; daughters, Jama King and Susan O’Hara; brothers and sisters, Claude McMillan, Reba Silkwood, Calvin McMillan, Ralph McMillan, Beulah Derrington, Clifford McMillan, and Harold McMillan. Mary was a loving wife and mother. She was a homemaker who enjoyed playing golf and watching NASCAR.
