VIENNA - Mary Ludean Pearce, 82, passed away at 6:45 p.m. Saturday, April 6, 2013, in Hillview Health Care Center in Vienna.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 9, in Blue Funeral Home in Goreville with the Rev. Tim Blankenship officiating. Interment will be in Mount Zion Cemetery in Buncombe. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial donations are suggested to VNA-TIP Hospice. Envelopes will be available during services or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, P.O. Box 411, Marion, IL 62959.
Mary was born Feb. 16, 1931, in Johnson County to Thomas and Daisy (Henderson) Stewart.
She married Robert D. Pearce on Sept. 29, 1949, in Johnson County, and he survives in Vienna.
Survivors include her loving husband, Robert; children, Sandra and Michael Gamble of Marion, Terry D. and Judy Pearce of Creal Springs and Gayla and Fred Hudson of Vienna; grandchildren, Trisha and Fred Meyer, Chad Hudson, Rachel and Kevin Sieveking, Stacey Pearce and Jonathan, Brad and Shermalee Gamble, David and Jodi Gamble and Scott and Shari Gamble; great-grandchildren, Kelton and Amber Akers, Lecsee, Vanesa, Brilyn, Anthony, Brandon, Briana, Jacob, Morgan, Landon, Derek and Alexis; and great-great-grandchildren, Alycia and Keegan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and four sisters.
Mary attended Mount Zion Church. She was a loving mother and wife and always put her family first.
She enjoyed visiting with family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all.
