Mary Ellen Carlson

West Frankfort-Mary Ellen Carlson, 83, passed away 5:12am on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at Herrin Hospital. Mary was born to George and Marie in Williamson County. She enjoyed poetry and fishing and loved spending time with her family. Survivors include: Four sons: Rickey and Anna Terry and Roberta Charles and Janet Darrell Timothy Two grandchildren: Tommy and Tammy Five step grandchildren Four great grandchildren One step great grandchild Five brothers Two sisters Many nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands Robert Carlson and Harold Good; one brother and one sister. Graveside services will be held at 11am on November, 1, 2013 at Rose Hill Cemetery with Rev. Paul Burbank officiating.  Friends and family are asked to meet at the cemetery. Memorial donations are suggested in lieu of flowers to Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be accepted at Blue Funeral Home/ PO Box 411/ Marion, IL  62959.
