Mary Boatright MARION- Mary Boatright, 90, of Marion passed away at 11:55 AM, Monday, April 26, 2004 at Friendship Care Center, Herrin. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, April 30, 2004 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Reverend Fred Boatright officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, Friday, April 30, 2004 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery, Marion. Memorials may be made to the Marion First Christian Church, envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959. Mrs. Boatright was born on June 15, 1913 in Marion, Illinois to William and Susan Francis (Reese) Taylor. She married Roy Boatright On February 19, 1938 in Charleston, Missouri, he preceded her in death on May 29, 1981. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sisters, Lois Taylor and Lucille Roberson; one brother, Robert Taylor; and two brothers-in-law, Wilbern Boatright and Walter Boatright. Mrs. Boatright was a member of the First Christian Church in Marion. She worked as a clerk at Campbell`s Rexall Pharmacy for several years.
