Mary Ann Godbey

Goreville Mary Ann Goodbey- of Goreville, passed away June 8th, 2012 at Shawnee Christian Nursing Home in Herrin. Funeral services will be held at the Blue Funeral Home in Goreville on Tuesday, June 12 at 10am. Burial will follow at Mt. Hebron Cemetery in Goreville. There will be a time of visitation at the funeral home on Monday, June 11, 2012 from 5-8pm. Ms. Godbey was born in Tellico Plains TN on September 26th, 1937, the daughter of Rollin and Bonnie (Atkins) Gray. She married Terry Godbey Sr on July 12th, 1985 in Aurora IL. He preceded her in death on July 12th, 2011. Ms. Godbey loved to read and spend time with her children. Survivors include: Children: Tina and Calvin Powell Alan and Sandra Rutherford Mike and Sue Rutherford Paul and Terry Rutherford Roland and Carolyn Rutherford Terry Cobb Step- Children: Jim Godbey Bill and Debbie Godbey Terry and Gayle Godbey Sister Dorris Yates 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
