Marjorie Faye Trovillion

Marjorie Faye Trovillion, age 96, of Goreville, Illinois, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2023 at her home in Goreville, Illinois.

Marjorie was born May 10, 1926 in rural Williamson County, Illinois, the last of ten children of John and Fleeta Mae (Goodman) Throgmorton. She married the love of her life, William Ward "Billy Ward" Trovillion, on July 4, 1947. He preceded her in death shortly before their 64th wedding anniversary.

Survivors include-

son- James Houston Trovillion of Goreville, IL

son- Elmer Lynn Trovillion of Goreville, IL

daughter- Kathy Mae (Alan) Saponar of Swansea, IL

Nine Grandchildren

Six Great Grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and nine siblings.

Private family services will be held. Her grandson, Brad Trovillion, will officiate. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Fountain Cemetery in Marion.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Fountain Cemetery for grounds up-keeping or to the Heather Treat Cancer Fund of Johnson County.
