Marjorie Lampley

September 30, 1932 — December 22, 2016

Herrin-Marjorie Ellen Lampley (née Coles) passed away peacefully on December 22, 2016 at the age of 84 at Shawnee Christian Nursing Center in Herrin, IL. She is preceded in death by her parents, Elsie & Floyd Coles, and her 2 brothers, Harold and Roy, and her beloved son Kenneth Lampley. She is survived by her 2 sisters, Helen Hucke & Reva Coles, her son Randy and grandson Alex. She is dearly missed by her extended family, Larry & Rhonda Davis, Brad Davis, Breanna Davis Dunham, and 2 great grandchildren Olivia & Claire Dunham. Marge was a very faithful and godly woman who loved the Lord and her family. She was very devoted to her son Kenny until the Lord took him home. She loved going to church and telling others about God. She was faithful till the end. Now she is with her Lord. She will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held at Victory Baptist Church at 1400 Samuel Road, Carterville, IL 62918 on Sunday, January 15th at 1pm. Blue Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Victory Baptist Children's Fund in honor of her love for children.
