Marjorie R. Kesler Marion-Marjorie R. Kesler, 89, of Marion, passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at 12:40 AM in Heartland Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be held for Marjorie on Friday, July 15, 2011 starting at 10:00 AM in Maplewood Cemetery in Marion. Family and friends are requested to gather at the cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Southern Illinois; envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent C/O Blue Funeral Home, P.O. Box 411, Marion, IL, 62959. Marjorie was born on May 1, 1922 in Johnson County to Olen & Susie (Tanner) Parks. She married Harry L. Kesler, who preceded her on January 31, 2010. Survivors include loving her children, Judy & Scott McCree and Jane & Ron Vaughn, all of Marion; grandchildren, Shelly & Kevin Dunaway, Lisa & Walter Skeate, Blake Vaughn and Amanda Vaughn; great-grandchildren, Ally Ann Dunaway, Jake Hunter Dunaway and Emma Kay Skeate and sister, Ruby Melvin of West Frankfort. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; husband and three brothers, RJ Parks, Hartwell Parks and Bill Parks. Mrs. Kesler was a homemaker and a 46 year volunteer at the Marion VA Hospital. She was a member of the Warder Street Baptist Church.
