Marjorie Cruse

July 23, 1928 — April 16, 2017

Goreville-Marjorie Cruse, formerly of Tamms, 88, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2017 at Heartland Regional Medical Center. Marjorie was born on July 23, 1928 in McLean, IL to Clarence and Mary (Mills) Hafley.  She married Weldon Cruse on December 1, 1944 in Bloomington.  Marjorie was a member of the Elco Baptist Church.  She enjoyed reading, playing bingo and liked to dance.  Marjorie loved spending time with her family and will be missed by all. Survivors include: Husband-Weldon Cruse of Marion Children: Alice Faye Feazel of Anna Anita Louise and Kent Richey of Lake of Egypt Debbie Sue Kinslow of Kevil, KY Grandchildren: Robert Sanders Michael and Becky Sanders Bridget and Joe Holder Amanda and Kevin Gibson Erica and Carl Stiff Adam Poole Jay and Amanda Mowery Tammy Crosby Amber and Bill Bowman Sarah Kinslow Gracie Starr Kinslow 25 great grandchildren Brother-Lewis Hafley Sister-Linda Williams She was preceded in death by her parents; infant son, Weldon Eugene Cruse and sisters, Evelyn Smith and Jenny Duff Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 21, 2017 at 1pm at Blue Funeral Home in Goreville Pastor Andy Lee.  Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery in Dongola.  Visitation will also be on Friday from 11am until the time of service at the funeral home.
