Marion Eugene Smith GOREVILLE-Marion Eugene Smith, 64, of Eagle Point Bay formerly of Bluffton, South Carolina, passed away at 10:45 AM, Tuesday, October 25, 2005 at his residence. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, October 26, 2005 at the Blue Funeral Home in Goreville. Funeral services will be held later in the week at Sauls Funeral Home in Bluffton, South Carolina. Burial will be in Old Bluffton Cemetery in Bluffton, South Carolina. Mr. Smith was born on April 14, 1941 in Savannah, Georgia to Marion Randolph and Annie Mae (Mulligan) Smith. He married Frances Tarvin on December 13, 1973. Survivors include his wife; his mother, Annie Mae Jones; brother and sister-in-law, Richard Randolph and JoAnn Smith; two nephews, Brian and Travis; three great nieces; and uncle, James Milligan. He was preceded in death by his father; uncle, Burbick Smith; and his grandfather, Mellenchamp Smith. Mr. Smith was a boilermaker for over 30 years. He traveled throughout the country with his work as a welder accompanied by his dear wife.
