Marguerite E. Burns MARION- Marguerite E. Burns, 85, of Marion passed away at 10:23 PM, Sunday, May 25, 2008 Parkway Manor Nursing Home in Marion. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Reverend Mark Hutson officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until the time of the service on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Marion. Mrs. Burns was born on February 8, 1923 in Stonefort, Illinois to Walter and Eva (Arnold) Hutson. She married Ralph F. Burns on March 19, 1938 in Charleston, Missouri; he preceded her in death on July 6, 1996. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Rosemary Burns of Stonefort; granddaughter and husband, Rosemary Beth and Orvil Garris of Stonefort; brother, Bill and Murl Hutson of Stonefort; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; son, Ronald Gene Burns; daughter, Beverly Ann Burns; brother, Clarence Hutson; and an infant brother. Mrs. Burns was a longtime member of Indian Camp Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing and knitting. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.
