Marguerite Bain MARION-Marguerite Bain, 91, of Marion passed away at 6:45 AM, Thursday, July 1, 2010 at her home surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at the First Baptist Church in Marion with Dr. Bob Dickerson officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until the time of the service on Tuesday at the church. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with the arrangements. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church or Hospice of Southern Illinois; envelopes are available through the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959. Marguerite was born December 17, 1918 in Harco to Clinton Bernie and Alta (Irwin) Keith. Survivors include daughter, Judy Strang of Marion; son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Donna Bain of Burke, Virginia; grandchildren, Michelle and Mark Roberts, Mitch and Tatia Strang and Diana Bain and Kara Bain and Dave Mack;and great grandchildren, Jesse Strang, Josie Strang and Markie Lynn Roberts. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Michael Strang; great grandson, Zachary Strang; brothers, Marshall Keith and Bill Keith; and sisters, Jane Rednour, Lucille Summers and Barbara Keith. Marguerite was a longtime member of Marion First Baptist Church and where she was also a member of the Joy Singers. She worked as a Food Service supervisor in Woody Hall at SIU-C and in her later years as a secretary with State of Illinois Mental Health and in the office at E.N. Baker Chevrolet-Cadillac.
