Margaret Treat

Marion-Margaret Sue Treat, 76, passed away at 8pm on Sunday, November 30, 2014 at Heartland Regional Medical Center. Margaret was born on October 22, 1938 in Johnson County to John and Marjorie (Grimes) Thomas. She married Edward Treat on May 14, 1955 in Vienna. He survives of Marion. Margaret attended First Apostolic Church. She formerly owned and operated grocery stores with her husband. Margaret was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her. Survivors include: Husband-Edward Treat of Marion Children: Stanley and Mary Treat of Ozark, IL Rhonda and Bob Moore of Kansas City, MO Kim and Doug Keim of Tunnel Hill Tammy and Scott Patterson of Goreville Grandchildren: Shawn Rogowski Ryan and Rachel Moore Justin and Myra Rogowski Andrew and Rachelle Keim Brandon and Emilie Rogowski Brittany and Jason Robertson Erik and Hailee Moore Kyle Patterson Garrett Patterson 14 great grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Thomas and biological mother Marjorie Grimes; brother, John Franklin Thomas; brother and sister in law, Allen Burke and Karen Thomas; son in law, David Rogowski and infant grandchildren, David Rogowski, Jr and Ashlee Moore. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at 11am at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. R.G. Walls officiating. Entombment will follow at Wise-Robinson Cemetery in Ozark. Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 from 5pm-8pm at the funeral home.
