Margaret Elaine Poland, age 87, of Marion, Illinois, passed away Monday, November 13, 2023 at Integrity Health Care in Marion, Illinois.

Elaine was born December 22, 1935 in Marion, Illinois, a daughter of Fred and Lena Pauline (Brown) Odum. She had worked for Wal-Mart as a door greeter and also served as a volunteer at Heartland Regional Medical Center. She was a member of the Community Chapel Church in Marion.

She is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Fred and Connie Odum and her special friends and caregivers, Brenda and Ken Holup. She is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Lena Pauline (Brown) Odum; four children and three siblings.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00am on Monday, November 20, 2023 at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Marion with Ken Holup officiating. Family and friends are asked to gather directly at the cemetery. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with final arrangements.
