Marion-Margaret Mae Morgan, 89, passed away at 2:40pm on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at Herrin Hospital. Margaret was born on April 16, 1925 in Williamson County to Harvey and Ruth (Chitty) Walker. She married Clifton Morgan. He preceded her in death in 1986. Margaret worked at various retail stores and was a member of Palestine Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and will be missed by all. Survivors include: Daughters: Lynetta Joyner and husband Howie Brenda South and husband Jack Grandchildren: Kimberly and Mike Redmon Eric Joyner and fiancé Andrea Rametta Shannon and Amanda Joyner Great-grandchildren: Madilynn Redmon Wesley Redmon Brayden Joyner Kameron Joyner Griffin Graves Taylor Cockfield Sister-Viola Roach She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; grandson, Mark Anderson; brother, Dr. Jim Walker and sister, Mary McGee. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 1, 2014 at 11am at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Jim Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Wolf Creek Cemetery. Visitation will also be on Friday, from 10am until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorial donations are suggested to Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be accepted at Blue Funeral Home/ 1704 N. Court St/ Marion, IL 62959.
