Margaret Lence MARION-Margaret Lence, 85, of Marion passed away at 9:25 AM, Saturday, April 10, 2010 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Dr. Bob Dickerson officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 Am until the time of the service on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Maplewood Cemetery, Marion. Margaret was born August 1, 1924 in Williamson County to Roy and Julia (Parks) Gamble. She married Harold Lence on September 22, 1947 in Marion; together they shared 62 years of marriage. Survivors include her husband, Harold Lence of Marion; son and daughter-in-law, Alan and Debbie Lence of Marion; grandchildren, Ashley Lence, Adam Lence, Brendon and Crystal Wollard and Megan Eldridge; five great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Sandy Gamble; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Sally Wollard-Grimes; brother, David Gamble; and sister, Jean Gamble. Margaret formerly worked at Pepsi-Cola for 17 years as an Executive Secretary. She was a member and a volunteer at Marion First Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling with her husband.
