Margaret Jaacks MARION-Margaret Jaacks, 84, of Marion formerly of Vernon Hills passed away at 6:00 PM, Wednesday, June 21, 2006 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. With respect to Margaret’s personal wishes her body was cremated. Private family services will be held at a later date. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Jaacks was born October 27, 1921 in Evanston, Illinois to Sigard and Esther (Larson) Carlson. She married Gilmore Jaacks on February 27, 1942 in Des Plaines, Illinois; he preceded her in death on October 30, 1958. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Diana and Jerry Schaefer of Marion; son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Linda Jaacks of Phoenix, Arizona; grandchildren, Ginny and Craig Lambert of Marion, Brian and Tracy Schaefer of Antioch, Vanessa and Lenny Cardone of Anthem, Arizona, Dr. Shannon Jaacks and her fiance’, Matt Harlen of Iowa City, Iowa, and Jason Jaacks of Phoenix, Arizona; great grandchildren, Ashley Pasco, Kendall Lambert, Justin Lambert, Kyle Schaefer, Caden Schaefer, and Brody Harlen; and great great grandchild, Bryce Watson. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; daughter, Virginia Jaacks; grandson, Brent Schaefer, and sister and brother-in-law, Elsie and Laverne Erickson.
